The Savoury

The Savoury Restaurant at The Vijitt Resort in Rawai is an unbeatable setting. Firstly to get to the restaurant you arrive at the lobby area and after parking your car they whisk you down to the beachfront restaurant by club car. The sense of arrive is stunning, with the almost black 40 metre infinity pool disappearing into the distance and a backdrop of the shallow waters that lead out towards Lon Island.

There is plenty on offer at the restaurant with wide-ranging a la carte menus for both lunch and dinner, offering both western and Asian dishes, great pizzas and an excellent kids menu. Although the setting is peaceful kids are welcome and they have all the little touches to ensure that kids have a good time and mum and dad can relax and enjoy.

Probably the best way to experience the resort is to join one of their Sunday lunches; fresh seafood, sushi, salads, som tam station, BBQ station, carvery, pasta station, great desserts including ice creams and a chocolate fountain and all of that for just 850 Baht per person and for an extra 100 Baht you get half a carafe of the resort's house wine. Kids are half price, there is a little play corner and kids can use the pool as well!
