Multihull Solutions Regatta

The Multihull Solutions Regatta takes place in Ao Chalong over three days in July. A fleet of catamarans and trimarans will grace the water once again sailing on courses that are designed for multi-hull boats. Four parties and prize-giving ceremonies will take place at the host venue Phuket Yacht Club.

One of the reasons for the popularity of this event is that in the absence of monohull boats, many sailors get the opportunity to experience exhilarating racing on multihull boats for the first time.

Three of the multihull manufacturers from the region, Latitude 8 with its Fireflys and the Whitehavens and Composite Catamarans showcase their designs.

Phuket's Multihull Regatta was founded in 2008 and at the time was the only regatta in Asia dedicated to multi-hull boats, excluding beach catamarans, that offered boats in the region an opportunity to race against each other.

The Regatta takes place in July at a time when the wind conditions vary thus offering both calm and squal weather.
